DUST 3P

DUST 3P is a further development of mobile suction units for locating and removing foreign material under water. The pneumatic version is enhanced for long-time cleaning of large surfaces using improved suction power and endurance. It is mounted on a handling pole during its operation.

Applications

• Complete cleaning of the lower support plate in PWRs during visual inspections
• Complete cleaning of pump deck in BWR (reaching behind obstacles like main circulation pumps, feedwater sparger and insert pipes)
• Large surfaces cleaning in fuel and reactor pools
• Retrieving objects from narrow RPV nozzles and orifices with customized suction nozzles
